Recruitment and Selection Workshop

This course aims to equip hiring managers with the knowledge and skills to better assess a candidate’s suitability within the recruitment process by using capability analysis.

Please note: This course does not include how to write duty statements.

The course does include:

  • The University’s recruitment process and procedure
  • Roles and responsibilities of the hiring manager and SydneyRecruitment
  • Legal and EEO requirements
  • Behavioural interviewing skills and practice

Through a combination of theory and practice participants gain confidence in their knowledge and ability to determine a candidates organisational fit and make decisions that are in the best interest of the candidate and the University.

Target audience

Hiring managers and other staff in the position of recruiting.
