Executive and Senior Leaders

The programs within this stream are desigend to address the needs of senior academic and professional staff within the University. All programs are delivered by external advisors, and have been tailored in response to consultation with senior staff and feedback from previous participants.

All programs provide opportunities to discuss your own and others’ experiences and aim to foster a useful dialogue amongst participants both during and after the session(s). Some programs have been designed to address the specific needs of academic staff, whilst others are open to both academic and general staff and promote a greater understanding of what is required in order to improve the functioning of the University as a whole.

Programs for academic leaders only:

• Leading, Learning and Teaching and Research (5 optional modules, 2 hours to 2 days in length)
• Personal Effectiveness as an Academic Leader (1 day)

Programs open to academic and senior professional staff:

• Leading Change (1 day)
• The Future of Higher Education (1 day)
• Advanced Leadership and Communication skills (2 days)
• Executive Coaching Program (by request/ referral)
