Working with Hazardous Substances

In this session many sources of information will be introduced and essential issues covered, like storage and ladeling, dealing with spills and hazardous waste disposal.

Topics include:

• identification of hazardous substances and dangerous goods,
• assessing the risks arising from work involving these substances
• how to conduct this work safely

Target Audience

This course is designed for staff and honours and postgraduate students who work with hazardous substances and dangerous goods.
