PROGRESSION AND ASSESSMENT

Assessment is presently by examination. The pass mark in all examinations is 50%. A pass is determined by achievement in the examination, and is not influenced by pass rates. In future, assignments may contribute up to 20% of the final mark.

In the first four semesters students take not more than two subjects per semester. When eight subjects are completed, three subjects per semester are permitted. A student must sit for at least two examinations in any two successive semesters.
