Location
The University’s museums are located close together in and around The Quadrangle and clock tower on the Camperdown (main) campus of the University of Sydney, a few kilometres from the centre of Sydney.
All are open to the public and entrance is free.
The closest bus stops are on Parramatta Road at the corner of the University and Victoria Park, or at the Footbridge. (buses 412, 413, 435, 438, 440, 461, 480 & 483)
The closest train stations are Central and Redfern (20 – 25 minutes walk)
Parking on campus is limited. Parking fees apply.
Macleay Museum
Located on the top floor of the Macleay Building in Science Road, adjacent to The Quadrangle.
The museum entrance is in Gosper Lane at the western end of the Macleay Building.
University Art Gallery
Located in the archway linking The Quadrangle with the Macleay Building (Science Road).
Nicholson Museum
Located at the southern entrance of The Quadrangle.
