University Heritage Tours

Group Tours
Discover the stunning architecture and beauty of the Camperdown campus with a one hour guided tour of the iconic Main Quadrangle building. Our tour guide will take you on a journey of discovery, interweaving the history of the University with the development of the Quadrangle and the surrounding buildings. Explore the features that make this amazing campus unique, including the Kangaroo gargoyle, the Great Hall, MacLaurin Hall and Sydney University Museums.
Outside of the Main Quadrangle, there is also the opportunity to explore an additional two buildings whose architecture and history is equally as fascinating. Interested parties may also like to explore the Anderson Stuart Building (original site of the Medical School) and the New Sydney Law School. Individually, they represent important architectural features of the University, while collectively they illustrate how the University has responded to growth and changing student needs over time. An extra 20 - 30 minutes should be allowed for each of these tour options.
Tours are available Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm. Bookings should be made no less than two weeks in advance. Bookings made with less than two weeks notice cannot be guaranteed and will incur a late booking fee of $30.
Cost: $12 per person ($7 per senior citizen), including GST.
