Visiting the University Museums Education Program
A number of options are available for groups who wish to visit the University Museums. Actual times and arrangements will depend upon group sizes and individual requirements. We can take small groups of just a few people or groups of up to 160 students. Most visiting groups choose to take either the three-hour or two-hour options, but feel free to discuss arranging other options.
Three-hour visit
A standard full-day visit to one or more museums usually consists of either 1.5 hours in the galleries, a break for lunch (not provided), and then 1.5 hours in hands-on sessions, or three one-hour sessions in different galleries across the collection. Times are flexible, but many groups book for 10am–2pm.
Cost: $12.00 per student (inc. GST)
Minimum group cost: $290
Two-hour visit
A standard half-day visit to one or more museums usually consists of one hour in the galleries and one hour of hands-on sessions or other activities. Times are flexible.
Cost: $10.00 per student (inc. GST)
Minimum group cost: $175
Speak to us about which session and time best suits your needs as other options are possible. A non-refundable $60 holding/cancellation fee is due on receipt of the booking confirmation, and the balance is payable on the day of the visit.
