Simon Chapman applauds ban on tobacco displays

The well-known anti-tobacco campaigner Professor Simon Chapman told ABC news he welcomed the new regulation that prohibits tobacco being displayed in shops in NSW. "Nothing as comprehensive has ever been introduced in the area of tobacco control in the history of this country. In terms of significance, the banning of radio and television advertising in 1976 would rank with this," he said.Watch the video at ABC online.
