23 November 2009
As part of its commitment to internationalisation, the Faculty of Education and Social Work invites intrested members of the public as well as staff and students from all disciplines within the University and from other universities, to share and exchange ideas about how best to developing research, teaching and administrative practices in tertiary education.

This one-day colloquium will look at some of the more practical elements related to learning and teaching in academic settings including:
  • internationalising classrooms and curricula to embrace all peoples
  • understanding the richness of intercultural communication
  • working with all students within an internationalised framework
  • exploring ways in which the curriculum can respond to diversities such as gender, race, varying abilities and poverty within a framework of internationalisation
  • forging partnerships and relationships across cultures and societies.
