Keynote - National Health Informatics Summit, Singapore

Professor Westbrook was invited by the Ministry of Health Holdings in Singapore as a keynote speaker at the National Health Informatics Summit to speak about HIREU's research evaluating the benefits of electronic health record systems. Singapore is embarking upon an impressive plan to computerise its health care system. Demonstrating the benefits that these systems deliver is a central goal of this plan.

Professor Westbrook was joined by Dr Mike Bainbridge, clinical architect for the NHS Connecting for Health programme in the UK; Professor Thomas Inui, President and CEO Regenstrief Institute USA, and Dr Caitlin Cusak Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality - National Resource Center for Health Information Technology.
