Phase 1 FSAP begins
The start of the New Year saw the commencement of Phase 1 of the Future Student Admin Program (FSAP), which will address both process and technology in its review and renewal of our overall approach to Student Administration.
Representatives from Deloitte will assist the University over the coming months to map out our current processes, allowing us to identify the requirements for a new student administration system which will replace the existing FlexSIS system.
"Once we have gathered all the requirements and agree upon the scope of processes to be included in "student administration", the University will go to the market to find an off-the-shelf solution that meets our needs" said Marlon Ornek, FSAP Project Manager.
In the meantime, it is business as usual for FlexSIS which will remain the University's student admin system until the new system is introduced. "Once the Student Administration Systems Steering Group (SASSG) confirms the project charter, we will conduct a number of workshops and interviews to gather further information for the next stage of the project." added Ornek. The project team is located on Level 4 of the Storey Dixson building.
