Q: Could you briefly describe yourself?
A: I'm an undergraduate student in the Faculty of Health Sciences. My plan is to continue my studies as a graduate student to gain a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
Q: Why did you choose to study at Sydney University?
A: The University of Sydney is the first university in Australia and one of the leading universities for research. In such a university, I can be assured of getting a high standard of education, as well as the opportunity to be involved in the human health research.
Q: What's your favourite social activity?
A: Going out with my friends and meeting people.
Q: What do you enjoy about living in Australia?
A: Even though I'm far away from my home country, I don't feel homesick, simply because the friendly environment in Australia satisfies everybody's needs.
Q: What do you miss most about your home country?
A: For sure, my family and my friends.
Q: Will you stay in Australia or go back to your home country? And why?
A: Probably I'll go back home to serve my community and to live with my family and friends. However, since I came to Australia, the Australian community has helped me to enjoy my life here. This community has become my family after arriving in Sydney, and I cannot imagine that after all the years living in Australia I'm going to leave without coming back. I hope that by the end of my studies, I'll be able to figure out a way to do this.
Q: What is your advice to other overseas students thinking of coming to Sydney?
A: Do not hesitate. You will find that you will be a part of the community as soon as you arrive.
Q: Has anything surprised you about Australia?
A: Yes indeed. A lot of Sydney's drivers are worse than I ever imagined.
