The University of Sydney's Integrated Sustainability Analysis Team wins a prestigious Green Globe Award.
The inaugural International Healthy Parks Healthy People Congress is currently calling for papers, workshops and proposals. The congress will be held at the new Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre in April 2010.

Applications are now open for Australian students wishing to attend the Climate Conference: Science and Humanities. The Conference will be held at Harvard University on the 3-4 March 2010.
The University of Sydney's Institute for Sustainable Solutions hosted the launch of the One Million Women Campaign. The campaign aims to enlist one million women across Australia, to commit to reducing their carbon emissions by one tonne annually. 
The Climate Change Health Council has mounted an ambitious international campaign, aimed at enabling the 'health voice' to be properly heard in the lead up to the UN Climate Change conference in Copenhagen, in Dec 2009
Paul Gilding a prominent Australian writer and activist for action on climate change and sustainability, launched the 2009 Focus on the Future series for 2009. His lecture addressed a new model of economic growth and discussed the current global ecological crisis.
A Public Lecture followed by a three day Symposium exploring the role of catalysis as a key to sustainability were held at the University from the 14-17th of April.
