Getting to the University of Sydney
Where is it all happening?
Most University of Sydney Postgraduate Information Week activities will take place on the University’s Camperdown and adjacent Darlington Campuses.
The Camperdown Campus is located between City Road and Parramatta Road, approximately 3 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD.
The following campuses will also be open to visitors:
- Rozelle Campus (Sydney College of the Arts)
- Law Campus (Sydney Law School) will also be open to visitors.
All other University campuses will be represented at the Camperdown/Darlington Campuses.
How to get to the Camperdown/Darlington Campuses
Public transport is the best way to get to Postgraduate Information Week on the Camperdown and Darlington Campuses, as parking is limited.
You can get a train to Redfern train station, and then walk to the Camperdown Campus. Free buses run to and from Fisher Library and Redfern station in the evening.
Alternatively, you can take a bus to the University. Many buses leave from the Central Business District, go to Railway Square (Central Railway Station), and then continue to the University (check with the bus driver). Some go along the City Road side of the Camperdown campus (closest to Darlington Campus). Other buses run alongside the Parramatta Road side of the campus, past the Footbridge Theatre (closest to the Main Quadrangle).
