Applying for Honours
To apply for an honours you are required to fill in 2 forms:
- a Faculty of Science application form (see below) generally no later than 18th June 2009 but please check the Faculty website for updated details
- a Pharmacology application form no later than 26 November 2009
Faculty of Science application form
This form must be submitted directly to the Science Faculty Office.
Current University of Sydney students
Prospective Honours students currently enrolled in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney should look at:- Honours in the Faculty of Science
Students from other universities in Australia
Prospective Honours students who have completed their degrees at other institutions, as well as Sydney students who have taken a break from their studies, should also examine the Faculty of Science website Honours information.
International students
International students, who are newly enrolling, should apply through the International Office
International students who are already students at the university should apply through the:
- International Office (above) and
- through the Faculty of Science (with departmental signature)
Honours in pharmacology

Prospective students should make their interest known to the relevant member of staff or the Fourth Year Coordinator and complete the pharmacology application form. Students are asked to list their project preferences (up to 5), and this list should include at least 3 project supervisors. These project preference forms should be submitted to us as early as possible and no later than 26 November 2009.
