Australian Universities Quality Agency
The Australian Universities Quality Agency (AUQA) is an independent, not-for-profit national agency that will promote, audit, and report on quality assurance in Australian higher education. For more information, visit AUQA’s website.
AUQA audited the University of Sydney in 2004. The Audit Report summarises the main findings and lists AUQA’s commendations, affirmations and recommendations.
In response to the AUQA report, the University prepared a detailed implementation plan. It is anticipated that a further progress update will be posted on the website in the first quarter of 2008.
AUQA will commence cycle 2 reviews in 2008. It is anticipated that the University will next be audited in 2009/10. AUQA’s audit website provides more information on the audit process.
