Archives and Records Management Services
The Archives and Record Management Service develops and implements university policy regarding the management of the records of the University's official business.The Archives and Record Management Service identifies, arranges, describes and provides access to the permanently valuable records of the University, in accordance with the university Archives policy. In addition to the University's own administrative records and that of the amalgamated institutions, ARMS also deals with records of significant individuals and organisations with strong associations with the University.
Freedom of Information and Privacy
The Freedom of Information and Privacy functions are currently managed from within the University Archives, with determinations being made by the Registrar or another senior officer. The FOI Coordinator and Privacy Officer ensure the implementation of University policy with regard to FOI and Privacy in accordance with relevant legislation. In addition to processing applications under FOI, the Coordinator administers internal review processes as required, and those reviews directed from the Ombudsman's Office. The Coordinator also produces publications required under the FOI Act.
