Cooperative Research Centres

Sydney is a participant in 12 Cooperative Research Centres (CRCs). In 2005, one new CRC was established and four were renewed, in which the University is a core or supporting participant.

Sydney University is a participant in the following CRCs:

• The Australian Biosecurity CRC
• The Capital Markets CRC
• The CRC for Advanced Composite Structures
• The CRC for Asthma and Airways
• The Innovative Dairy Products CRC
• The CRC for Mining
• The CRC for Polymers
• The CRC for Internationally Competitive Pork Industry
• Cotton Catchment Communities CRC
• The Hearing CRC
• The Invasive Animals CRC
• The Smart Services CRC

We have also been involved in two other CRCs that have now been wound-up at the end of successful research programs:

• The CRC for Cardiac Technology
