The Centre for Behavioural Sciences invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified graduates who would like to undertake PhD studies particularly in the area of intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorders and looking for the causes of Motor Neurone Disease" (in collaboration with A/Prof Roger Pamphlett, Pathology) - life stresses and personality in persons with MND.

Synopsis

The Centre has been involved in extensive research relating to the area of intellectual disability and autism, particularly people with an intellectual disability in the criminal justice system as victims or offenders.  We are also looking for the causes of Motor Neurone Disease" (in collaboration with A/Prof Roger Pamphlett, Pathology) - life stresses and personality in persons with MND. We would be very interested in assisting those interested in pursuing research in these areas through part-time or full-time PhD studies.

  • Post Graduate Research Awards (HECS exemption).
  • Suitable candidates can apply for scholarships.
  • Students need to have completed an Honours Degree in Psychology or equivalent to apply.
