Alzheimer's desease (AD) is one of leading causes of disability burden in Australia. The incidence of Alzheimer's disease and its socioeconomic impacts are becoming increasingly influential. Currently, there is no cure for Alzheimer's disease and medical interventions can only slow down the progress if overt symptoms appear. Accurate diagnosis, especially early detection of Alzheimer's disease, is the most important step in treatment planning. Neuroimaging could assist us in clinical diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease also has a great potential in early detection of Alzheimer's disease.
