About Professor Philip Sambrook

My passion is improved patient care for sufferers of bone and joint disease. We can only do that by constantly pushing the barriers to research.

Philip Sambrook is Professor of Rheumatology at the University of Sydney and has research interests in osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and inflammatory joint disease

Philip Sambrook is the Florance and Cope Professor of Rheumatology at the University of Sydney. He has published over 270 peer reviewed papers including invited editorials in the New England Journal of Medicine, British Medical Journal and Lancet.

He is a member of the Editorial Boards of Journal of Rheumatology, Osteoporosis International, Arthritis Research and the Journal of Bone and Mineral Research.

He is the current President of the Australian & New Zealand Bone & Mineral Society and a member of the Committee of Scientific Advisors of the International Osteoporosis Foundation and the Board of the International Bone and Mineral Society.
