Australia-Korea Internship Program

Where: Local and multinational Korean corporations

RIAP manages the Australia-Korea Internship Program (AKIP), a competitive internship program designed for outstanding final year undergraduate and postgraduate students from universities across Australia who are interested in pursuing a business-related career in the Asia Pacific region. Students have the opportunity to work within participating local or multinational Korean organisation in South Korea. Some past placement organisations have included Samsung, Hyundai and POSCO. AKIP is a joint initiative of the Australian Government's Australia-Korea Foundation, who is responsible for funding, and RIAP, who coordinates and implements the program. More...


Australia-Korea Next Generation Leaders Program

Who: Professionals with leadership qualities
Where: Delegation tour of Korea

RIAP manages the Australia-Korea Next Generation Leaders Program (AKNGLP), which aims to develop the leadership skills of potential and current leaders from Australia and Korea in specifically identified subject areas or themes. The program is targeted at working professionals, and applicants are required to demonstrate their professional experience, ability to contribute to the program, leadership potential and personal and professional qualities. The trip to Korea includes opportunities to network with international leaders and engage in briefings and meetings with Korean counterparts and institutions.
