EuropeAid is the Directorate-General of the European Commission that is responsible for implementing external aid programs and projects across the world. It works closely with EU neighbouring countries, Russia, Africa, Caribbean, Latin America and the Asia Pacific region to tackle universal challenges such as poverty, hunger, the environment, human rights, health and education while promoting good governance, human and social development and security.
Master of Human Rights and Democratisation
RIAP, in collaboration with the Faculty of Arts, secured a European Commission grant worth EU1.498 million to develop a networked Asia-Pacific Master of Human Rights and Democratisation. The Masters will be available at the University of Sydney and partner universities including the University of Colombo (Sri Lanka), Kathmandu Law School (Nepal), Mahidol University (Thailand) and Gadjah Mada University (Indonesia).
