Go8 Germany Joint Research Co-Operation Scheme

This scheme is a joint initiative of the Go8 and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Germany’s national agency for the support of international academic co-operation.

The scheme aims to:

• foster research collaboration of the highest quality between Australian researchers from Go8 universities and German researchers.
• result in research outcomes and the exchange of skills and knowledge of mutual benefit to Australia and Germany.

NOTE the following USyd specific requirements not listed on the G08 website above:

* Eligibility for this scheme at USyd is limited to early career researchers within 5 years of the award of their PhD (ie. awarded no earlier than 1 July 2004) or no more than 5 years research experience as at 1 July 2009

* Applicants must obtain endorsement from their Head of School (page 6 of the application).

* A completed Research Proposal Clearance Form should be submitted with your application
