RIMS HAS GONE LIVE!!

The Proposal Tracking module of RIMS went live on 1 September 2008- currently the system holds information relating to all active grants as well as outcome pending applications. Staff in the Research Office will have full edit access to RIMS and will use the system to support the management of the grants lifecycle. Read-only access will be rolled out progressively to staff in other central units and across the faculties who are involved in research administration and management to deliver the benefits of the new system to as broad an audience as possible.

This is an important achievement that is the culmination of a huge and concentrated effort from across the entire University – our thanks to the many individuals whose commitment, contribution and support have been crucial to the successful implementation of RIMS.
