Research Management Program
The Research Management Program (RMP) is an initiative that is delivering a new research management capability for the University. Run by ICT in partnership with the Research portfolio, the Program is overseeing the University-wide rollout of a new Research Information Management System, known as RIMS. The new system is accompanied by process, culture and organisational changes that are designed to optimise the way people across the University and affiliated institutions collectively engage in research management.
This website has been created to provide information on the latest and upcoming changes for people who are interested in or may be affected by this large-scale, University-wide initiative.
Please click on the left hand menus to find out more about the program, the people involved, the features of the new system, progress to date, testing and training schedules, and timelines for deployment. You can also find out why these changes are happening and what the benefits will be for the University overall or for you as an individual. For more information, download a copy of the Research Management Program Charter.
The Research Outputs Modules of RIMS are scheduled to go live on 9 October - information about how this might affect you is available at News and Events.
