SCA at the Biennale
Ross Gibson, Professor of Contemporary Arts at Sydney College of the Arts, has extended an invitation to the public to have a conversation of up to 45 minutes with him during the 2008 Biennale of Sydney. Gibson, a well-known artist and writer, will hold five conversations a day in the lobby at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, as part of Conversations II.
Gibson will keep an online log of the topics that emerge during the three month long project. Basic elements, such as; time; attitude; language; and attentiveness, will be used to observe the revolutions of daily cycles of dedication, a three month intellectual commitment, and feedback from themes that evolve as participants discuss the gradually developing and accumulating topics.
Conversations II, will be held at the AGNSW to Sunday 7 September.
