How to apply - International

International applications must be lodged by the last working day in October.

International students checklist:

Step 1 - Application

Applicants must submit an application form together with the SCA questionnaire and a portfolio of recent artwork to the International Office of the University of Sydney.
For international application forms, visit the International Office.

Applicants currently completing the New South Wales Higher School Certificate must apply through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC). Refer to the application procedure for local applicants.

Step 2 - Questionnaire

All international applicants for the Bachelor of Visual Arts are required to complete and submit an international BVA questionnaire to the International office by the last working day in October. Applicants who do not submit a questionnaire may not be considered for admission.

Step 3 - Portfolio

A portfolios of recent artwork must be submitted as slides, a VHF video, photograph or CD Rom to the International office along with the completed application form and SCA international questionnaire. Please do not send original artworks. Include a postage paid self-addressed envelope for the return of the portfolio (More Info).
