How to apply - International

International applications must be lodged by the last working day in October. Applications received after the closing date may be considered for entry on a case-by-case basis

Step 1 - Application

Applicants must submit an international students application form. Application forms are available from the International Office

Step 2 - SCA Application Form

All international applicants for the Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) are required to complete and submit an Honours application form to the International office by the last working day in October.

Step 3 - Portfolio and Research Proposal

A portfolio of recent artwork and a research proposal must accompany the above application forms and be submitted to the International Office of the University of Sydney. The portfolio can be submitted as slides, a VHS video, photograph or CD Rom. Please do not send original artworks. Include a postage paid self-addressed envelope for the return of the portfolio (More Info).

The research proposal is a brief statement setting out in general terms, your topic of investigation, the theoretical concerns and direction the work is likely to take as well as the media likely to be employed.
