Within my sculptural objects a language of internal opposition exists that informs the whole. This conflicting exchange defines the work through the tension between order and chaos, geometry and the organic, and repetition and difference.

The resulting sculptures are not what they appear to be. Seemingly solid forms are in fact rigid hollow sacks negating yet defining the volumes they describe. These forms reflect and inform each other through meaning and material and concept.

The organic forms and the materials used evoke a strong, sensory experience, which culminates in the desire to touch.
