- July Semester - 30 April
Late applications are considered on on a case-by-case basis.
All applicants submit an application form, a questionnaire, portfolio and detailed research proposal. Local applicants must also attend an interview.
Local students checklist:
Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents and citizens of New Zealand are eligible to apply as local applicants.
Step One
Complete the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Postgraduate Application form. Available from:

Step Two
Complete the PhD Questionnaire and attach research proposal.

Step Three
Attach Portfolio. More Information about portfolios.
Step Four
Attach supporting documents. The documents you may have to provide include:
- evidence of your residency status,
- proof of change of name,
- academic transcripts for your qualifications,
- evidence of English proficiency,
- information about your record of exclusion,
- information about your technical, professional or other qualifications,
- information about your employment experience.
Step Five
Return application, questionnaire, portfolio and supporting documents to SCA (details on the right).
