Master of Interactive and Digital Media Coordinator: Ryszard Dabek
Ryszard Dabek has been teaching at Sydney College of the Arts since 2000 and has been Coordinator of the MIDM since 2002. Ryszard’s artistic practice encompasses a number of forms and mediums including photography, video, sound, and interactive media. His work has been exhibited widely in the national and international context. In addition to his own practice he has been actively involved in a number of key artist-run organizations, developing websites for spaces such as Loose Projects, Blaugrau and West Space.

Ann Finnigan
Dr Ann Finegan undertook postgraduate studies in Europe, where she also lectured in postructuralism in architecture before returning to Australia. Her interests include psychoanalysis, phenomenology and decontruction with special interest in sonic and visual aspects of the electromagnetic imaginary. Her favourite thinkers include Avital Ronell, Martin Heidegger, Emmanuel Levinas and Jacques Lacan, in respect of metaphysics in the electronic age. This extends to relational aethetics, the politics of friendship and the foregrounding of the relationship with the other. Journals she has published in include Loop, Eyeline, Art Monthly, Artlink, Contemporary and IEEE. She has written catalogue essays for the MCA, AGNSW, numerous biennales, Artspace, EAF and Canberra Contempory Artspace, and has strong links to Sydney's west and the regional galleries of Hazlehurst, Casula and Blacktown.
Rhys Turner
Rhys Turner has been Designing and Developing using Flash among other software packages in the industry for over 10 years now. He has taught Flash on Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels for around half this time and both freelancing through his company www.aliasmedia.com.au and fulltime roles in the Advertising and Digital Marketing industry keeps Rhys up to speed with the latest technologies, practices, secrets and all aspects of digital creative design, development and production to help you become skilled in the Interactive Design and Media industry. Rhys has a Bachelor of Visual Arts Hon 1 Electronic Arts and a Masters of Visual Arts Electronic Arts completed in 2005 at SCA.
