Research
Stuart Bailey is a current MVA candidate at Sydney College of the Arts. Bailey's thesis analyses how his practice forms a critical response to anxiety surrounding a constantly changing political and social climate.
The theories of Freud, and Deleuze and Guattari are used to approach not only his practice but the practices of related artists such as Thomas Hirschhorn and Mike Kelley.
