Scholarships for Indigenous students

The University of Sydney offers a number of scholarships specifically for Indigenous Australian students which can be viewed on the Future Indigenous Students scholarships page.

Please note: Although you may be eligible for Indigenous student scholarships we strongly recommend you apply for any scholarships for which you may also be eligible. For instance, other University of Sydney scholarships, residential scholarships, external scholarships, etc.

Commonwealth Indigenous Scholarships

For: Indigenous students in financial need commencing their first year of their first degree.
Value: These payments are indexed and will change on an annual basis. In 2010 the payment will be worth $4,253.
How to apply: Application forms are available on the UAC Website and will be processed by UAC. Apply using the Equity Scholarships form.
