About the Committee
This Senate committee's role is to identify (i) persons who might be suitable for nomination/suggestion to the Minister in the category of “6 external persons appointed by the Minister” and (ii) persons who might be suitable for the category “one external person appointed by the Senate”, and then make impartial recommendations to Senate.
