Dr Michael C Copeman

Dr Michael Copeman has been a Fellow of Senate elected by and from the graduates of the University of Sydney from 1 December 2005 to 30 November 2009. He has been re-elected to this position, and his new four year term will commence on 1 December 2009 and conclude on 30 November 2013.

He was previously a Fellow of Senate elected by and from the graduates of the University from 1996 to 2001, when he was a member of Senate's Chair Appointments Committee and the Steering Group to review the role of Chancellor.

Dr Copeman is a Visiting Oncologist, Northern Beaches Cancer Service Sydney, and Director, Hope Healthcare (Palliative, Rehab and Aged care Hospitals). He was a Councillor, NSW AMA (1993-1998).
