Tom Kavanagh

Tom Kavanagh is the Fellow of Senate elected by and from the postgraduate students of the University of Sydney, for a one year term of office which commenced on 1 December 2008 and concludes on 30 November 2009.

He is an ex-officio member of the Senate/Sports Liaison Committee and the Senate/Student Associations Liaison Committee.

Tom completed a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) in 2007, and is a candidate for the Master of Teaching (Secondary) degree in the Faculty of Education and Social Work, currently in Year II.

Tom was elected to the University of Sydney Union Board in 2006, serving as Treasurer and Chair of Clubs and Societies. He was a member of the SRC Executive in 2006, on the Senate/Student Organisations Liaison Committee as a USU representative (2007) and on the Student Appeals Panel (2007-November 2008).
