Secretary to Senate 2008 -
Dr Adams was appointed Registrar in 1998. Immediately before this appointment he was Director, Student Services at the University of Sydney, prior to which he held a number of academic and general staff appointments at the University of New South Wales.
As Registrar Dr Adams had management responsibility in the areas of: Undergraduate marketing and recruitment, admissions, enrolments, class timetabling, examinations, student records, graduations, student welfare and support services, corporate records management, FOI and privacy, secretariat and elections. As Registrar, Dr Adams was also Secretary to Senate and to the Academic Board.
Dr Adams retired as Registrar on 31 July 2008, but was appointed Secretary to Senate later in 2008.
