Welcome to the information page for students currently enrolled in the Graduate Program in Sexual Health. Most of the information in this page would be relevant to those enrolled in the coursework degrees (Graduate Certificate, Diploma and Masters)
Planning your program:
It is very important that you plan your program in consultation with the academic coordinator and/or other course coordinators. Those enrolled in the Diploma of Health Science (Sexual Health) and the Master of Health Science (Sexual Health) will have an opportunity to do this during the Sexual Health Practicum at the beginning of the year. Those enrolled in the Graduate Certificate of Health Science (Sexual Health) should do this by email/telephone conversation.
Some important points to consider:
- Have you any prior learning that may earn you advanced credit towards you degree?
Check out the page and discuss it with the academic coordinator.
- Look ahead at the units of study that are offered in each semester in the timetable and determine how you will structure your program to maximise your learning.
- The sexual health placement forms a very important part of your learning – it is never too early to start planning for it.
- It is important to understand the enrolment procedure for each semester. This will ensure that you select and enrol in the units of study that you want.
- There are always other questions you will want to ask. These form student resources.
- Check out the Bulletin Board for updates from the Academic Coordinator and other staff members.
