Measurements

• Measurements can be abbreviated (kg, mg, km). Our style is not to include a space after numerals – that is, use 5km not 5 km. This style has the additional advantage of ensuring that the measurement does not break from the number onto the next line in word processing programs. Note that unit symbols never take a plural (2kg not 2kgs).
