Courses and cut-offs
Some people seem to be born knowing what they want to do.
For the rest of us, making a decision about what we want to study at university requires a bit of research.
Below are some tools that might help you through the decision making process.
- Visit our find a course function and see what interest you.
- Call our Helpline on 1300 362 006 and speak to one of our student advisers. They will be able to talk to you about your options and direct you to detailed course information.
- Visit our blog.
- Speak to your family and friends. They have your best interests at heart and make wonderful sounding boards. Just remember, however, that this is your decision and your life so don't let yourself be led into someone else's study dreams.
- Finally, and most importantly, study what you love. You will be living and breathing whatever subject area you choose. Don't pick a course just because it matches your high UAI or because someone else thinks it might be a good profession for you.
