Can someone enrol on my behalf
If you cannot attend your designated enrolment day you can arrange a proxy enrolment, which means arranging for someone to enrol on your behalf.
It is essential that you, or your proxy, enrol at your designanted enrolment time or you risk losing your offer.
Procedure
1. Select a person who can act on your behalf on your enrolment day. This person could be a friend, a contemporary from school, a parent, a sibling or a relative.
2. Complete a proxy form (pdf).
If you cannot download this form, a signed a letter authorising another person to act on your behalf for your enrolment will suffice.
3. Prepare comprehensive and clear instructions to give to your proxy.
Checklist - what to give to your proxy
- the specific course (degree) you wish to study and its corresponding UAC course code
- whether you intend to accept a Commonwealth supported place or a domestic fee-paying place and how you intend to pay your tuition fees
- the units of study (subjects) you want to study. To help you pick your units of study, check out the faculty handbook
- your current postal address details (the University will send you a Confirmation of Enrolment within one week of enrolment)
- if you are a permanent resident, you will need to provide the date permanent residency was granted
- a method to pay tuition fees (if applicable). Payments can be made by credit card (Mastercard, Diners, American Express or Visa), EFTPOS, cheque or money order. Cash payments cannot be made. Please note that these fees are due for payment on
- the time, date and location of enrolment.
- the completed proxy form (pdf)
- any other information or documentation specific to the faculty's enrolment requirements
4. Your proxy will return from the enrolment day with some enrolment paperwork that only you can do. Come visit the Student Centre, under the Carslaw Building, as soon as possible to finalise these issues.
Outstanding requirements may include:
- completing and signing your Commonwealth Assistance form (if applicable)
- collecting your student card
- presenting any original documentary evidence as required by the University
