Your social life at uni - some tips

• Make a point of getting to know as many people as you can in your classes, you'll be surprised how much more motivated you are when you've got friends to collaborate with.
• The bar is a really cool place when you're in first year, but if you find yourself there too often after that, it probably means you haven't passed first year.
• Instead of waiting for people to make friends or talk to you, take the first step yourself! Have a chat to the people who are in your tutorials. You are likely to meet people with the same interests as yourself!
