Accommodation Service
The Accommodation Service assists students to find off-campus accommodation. The Service maintains an extensive database of suitable accommodation, primarily close to the University or within easy access via public transport. For more information go to their website or call on (02) 9351 3312.
Casual Employment Service
The Casual Employment Service helps students find casual and part-time work during their studies and in University vacations. The service can also assist with advice on writing resumes and cover letters, award rates and where to seek help. For more information go to their website or call on (02) 9351 8714.
Counselling Service
The Counselling Service provides short-term, problem-focused counselling from qualified professionals to help students fulfil their academic, individual and social goals through free and confidential counselling. Financial assistance
Financial assistance is available for undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled at the University in degree and diploma programs. The Financial Assistance Office administers a number of loan funds and bursaries to assist students. For more information go to their website or call on (02) 9351 2416.
Learning Centre
The Learning Centre assists students to develop the broad range of academic skills which are necessary for successful university study. The Central Program of workshops includes topics such as study skills, academic reading and writing, oral communication, examination skills and postgraduate research and writing skills. Mathematics Learning Centre
The Mathematics Learning Centre provides a flexible learning environment for students to develop the mathematical knowledge, skills and confidence that are needed for studying mathematics or statistics at university. For more information go to their website or call on (02) 9351 4061.
Careers Centre
The Careers Centre offers counselling and advice, job search workshops, career guidance testing and a career resource centre as well as running graduate recruitment programs for final year students. For more information go to their website or call on (02) 9351 3481.
Computer Access Centres
The Computer Access Centres provide printing facilities, computer and internet access for students, as well as free evening classes during the first half of each semester.
Koori Centre
The Koori Centre provides programs, services and facilities to encourage and support the involvement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in all aspects of tertiary education at the University of Sydney, including involvement with a number of courses, guest lecturing and field experience programs. University Health Service
The University Health Service is located in the Wentworth Building and in the Holme Building. The Health Service provides full general practitioner services and emergency medical care to the University community. University of Sydney Union
The University of Sydney Union offers many welfare, social and cultural services to all students. It provides catering facilities around the University, co-ordinates recreational activities and funds over 250 clubs and societies. The Union also provides welfare services such as a resting room and lockers for students with disabilities.

Students' Representative Council
The Students' Representative Council (SRC) represents undergraduate students at the University. The SRC has Welfare and Education Officers to provide advice and assistance with Austudy, Social Security, harassment and discrimination, tenancy, course problems, grievance procedures, assessment and many other matters. There are also free legal advice and interest free loans.

Sydney University Postgraduate Representative Association (SUPRA)
The Sydney University Postgraduate Representative Association (SUPRA) is the organisation most concerned with the welfare and interests of postgraduate students. SUPRA provides advice to postgraduate students on most academic and welfare matters.
