How to apply for financial assistance

1. Applications need to be made in person. Phone interviews can be arranged in some instances when students are on rural placements. Call the Financial Assistance Offfice on (02) 9351 2416 for further information on phone interviews.
2. Complete a Financial Assistance Application Form and then make an appointment to see the Financial Assistance Officer by calling (02) 9351 2416.
3. On arriving for an interview at the Financial Assistance Office, your student ID card will need to be presented.
4. Interviews may take up to half an hour to discuss your application.
5. You must contact the Financial Assistance Office the next day to see whether you application has been approved.
6. If approved, you must return to the Financial Assistance Office to sign your loan agreement - these can be faxed on request.
