Airport Arrivals Reception Desk

On arrival at Sydney Airport, you should go to the Airport Arrivals Reception Desk. This Reception Desk provides information about transport to your accommodation or to the university for all international students studying at the various universities in Sydney. This desk is located between the Arrival Gates A and B and C and D, and is next to the Airport Information Desk (please see map of Sydney Airport arrival below).
You will need to advise staff at the desk that you are studying at the University of Sydney and they will provide you with an information pack. Please also advise the staff if you are studying at the Cumberland campus.
If you need information about transport to your accommodation or the University, the staff at this desk will be able to assist you. This desk operates for a number of weeks at the beginning of each semester.
Semester 2, 2009

These sessions are open to students from all campuses of the University. However, please be aware that the enrolment information will differ between the campuses.
Daily Arrival Information Sessions are held daily at the beginning of each semester to provide students with useful information, such as:
- Public Transport
- Health cover

Daily Arrival Information Sessions aim to assist you in settling into life in Sydney more easily. It is strongly recommended that you attend a session as soon as possible after you arrive.
Housing Information Sessions are held daily immediately after the Daily Arrival Information Sessions and outline the assistance available for students seeking off-campus accommodation. The Housing Office is open for a number of weeks at the beginning of each semester and provides a database of off-campus housing which students are welcome to search.
