Learning Centre workshops at Cumberland Campus
At various times during the year, the Learning Centre on the Cumberland Campus runs workshops on specific skills or tasks; e.g. paraphrasing and referencing, essay structure, writing a literature review. (See the Camperdown Learning Centre pages for some examples of the types of topics which are available. The length of the workshop can be varied to suit the needs of the students.) Workshops are free for all University of Sydney students.
How is a workshop arranged?
Workshops can be arranged to suit the needs of students, by contacting a Learning Centre staff member.
A workshop can be requested by lecturers/course co-ordinators for students in a particular course or unit of study. This might be a standard workshop, or one which is specially designed for the course, and may be within the course structure or alongside it.
Alternatively, students can independently form a smaller group based on a shared need/interest, and contact the Learning Centre at the Cumberland Campus directly. One or more workshops can be arranged for the needs of the group.
Students on the Cumberland Campus are also welcome to enrol in any of the regularly scheduled workshops at the Learning Centre on the Camperdown Campus.
Workshops coming soon to the Cumberland campus
