Sydney University Network for Women
The Sydney University Network for Women (SUN) aims to support the leadership, development and advancement of women within the University. The University is committed to providing equal opportunity for women in employment and to promoting affirmative action programs designed to address past inequalities.
SUN has a unique ability to represent the interests of University women, and can offer valuable input to the development and implementation of various policies or activities to achieve this commitment. SUN was established in 1998 and now has over 400 members. The Staff and Student Equal Opportunity Unit has played an instrumental role in the establishment and ongoing support of SUN.
