Judith Russell, in her role as Director, Corporate Services, is responsible for information management (Archives and Records Management) and governance support (University Secretariat) as well as supporting the Registrar in his role. Judith is in the happy position of seeing the University as a whole and the interconnectedness of functional areas and activities, both academic and administrative. She is particularly interested in information flow and communication and how they can influence individual and unit performance and morale.
Judith has derived great benefits from a long-term mentoring relationship, especially in the areas of career planning, professional relationships, and in increased awareness of the organisation and how it works. She has also derived many benefits from being a mentor, both in this University and in other work places. She has a great deal of experience in administration and management and in life and feels that her experiences could help others to look at their own situations or challenges differently or more creatively.
