The University of Sydney is enormously grateful for the generous philanthropic support it receives from alumni and friends of the University. In 2006, over six thousand donors – individuals, foundations, and corporations – gave over twenty eight million dollars to support students, teaching, research, and infrastructure at Australia’s first University. In 2007, this support was even greater.

Every one of these gifts makes a difference.

As we move forward into 2008, with the University climbing up the international rankings to reach 31st place amongst the world’s universities, and construction on new buildings such as Law and Sydney Central transforming the campus, we are profoundly grateful for your assistance in helping us along the way.
